HUHST Successfully Holds Spring Campus Job Fair for the Class of 2026



On March 24, 2026, the spring campus job fair for the Class of 2026 was held at Haiyuan Square. Hu Kaibo, Secretary of the CPC HUHST Committee; Wen Jin, Vice President of the university; and officials from the Loudi Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau and the Loudi Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology attended the event to offer guidance.

The job fair was lively and well attended, attracting 172 reputable enterprises and public institutions from Hunan and beyond and offering more than 7,000 job openings. The positions covered key fields such as materials science, machinery manufacturing, electronics and information technology, and culture and tourism services, closely matching the fields of study and employment needs of HUHST graduates and providing them with a wide range of career options. The human resources and social security bureaus of Xinhui District, Jiangmen City, and Ningxiang City also organized delegations of key local enterprises to recruit at HUHST. During the fair, graduates participated actively, submitting more than 2,600 resumes on site, with more than 600 preliminary employment intentions reached with employers. Service areas for employment and entrepreneurship, career guidance, and resume counseling were also set up, where faculty members and career advisors provided one-on-one guidance to graduates. A live-streamed recruitment session was held at the same time, allowing employers to make online presentations and further expanding the reach of the job fair.

Hu Kaibo spoke with employers and graduates at the fair. He noted that the university has always placed graduate employment in a prominent position and will continue to deepen cooperation among the university, government, and enterprises, align closely with social needs, expand employment channels, and improve its career guidance system. With care and dedication, HUHST will help graduates secure fuller and higher-quality employment.

By efficiently integrating university-enterprise resources and optimizing the employment service model, the spring campus job fair produced positive outcomes for the university, government, and enterprises, and provided strong support for the employment of the Class of 2026.
